THE BAND

Rebuke is a melodic punkband that started playing in Gothenburg, Sweden in April of 2003. At first we were a three piece but after considering a second guitarplayer Johan joined in the summer of 2003. However, soon after he realized he wanted to spend more time with his girlfriend, so we had to let him go just after recording our debut EP, "Deadline". We proceeded to play our first show, and followed that up with another EP in the summer of 2004, called "Kill Stereotypes". Phil decided to go back to school for a while, putting the band in a "practice every other month, almost never play shows"-state, but with songs still being written, we recorded "Opposing the Numerical Obsession" in 2005. Our first fullength album "Outside of Calamity" was put out by ourselfs in 2007.

2008 started out with some more member swapping. Eric left and one of our stand-in drummers, Marcus from Piteå got thrown into the mix. Soon after that we picked up Sam and once again became a four piece, the way it sort of always was intended. A self-titled EP was released in March of 2008, and there is most certainly more to come!
